CAD design + 3D printing: from idea → model → part that actually fits

My CAD-to-print workflow: iterate fast, measure twice, and stop wasting filament.

What I did

  • Designed parts in CAD with real tolerances, not vibes (ironic, I know).
  • Printed prototypes, measured, adjusted, and logged revisions.
  • Built profiles for different filaments (silk PLA / PETG) to reduce failures.
  • Integrated prints into practical builds (mounts, enclosures, brackets).

Notes

This is written as a real log — configs, mistakes, and the “why.” If you want the raw screenshots/config snippets, ping me on LinkedIn.
